The Cloud Connect Client does not connect to the Web Security Service VPN
Cloud Connect Defense Client integrated with the Web Security Servce
It is possible that the certificate needed to establish a connection to the Web Security Service has not been installed.
When installing the Cloud Connect Defense (CCD) Client, the user is prompted to install a certificate. Ensure that the user has accepted the prompt to install the certificate If the user denies the certificate installation, the user will be prompted again in a few minutes.
Verify that the certificate is installed:
Navigate to Windows Log > Settings > Manage User Certificates
Note: the certificate should be visible in key-store with SymcVPNWSS name. Make sure that the certificate exists and is valid.
Even after installing the certificate, VPN does not connect then collect CCD Client logs and provide the logs to the Symantec Technical Support team.
