Sometimes when running a Live Update on a device, Endpoint Protection Cloud (SEPC) prompts to restart the device.
Windows or Mac OSx
The device prompts for a restart when the product is upgrading to a new version (For example going from SEPC client version 22.15 to 22.16)
If the Live Update is only updating virus definitions and\or policy updates, a restart is not required and the device is not prompted for reboot.
