You have Endpoint Protection Cloud installed under one account but now want it to report to a second account.
Can I transfer devices from one SEPC account to another?
How can I move a device from one client to another?
My licenses show expired but I have an active subscription?
Migrate from one account to another within SEPC
Account information is hard coded into the SEPC installer. Until a new installer is run, the device will always connect to the account the device was originally enrolled into.
Before you even attempt the solution, be aware that this is not guaranteed to work! The correct procedure would be to uninstall and reinstall to the new account you are migrating clients to. However if you are aware that its only 50% chance of success and still want to try, then continue reading.
1) If the device is currently enrolled in a SEPC account, you have to unenroll it first from the undesired account. The device will now report a licensing error. Do not uninstall SEPC.
2) In the new desired SEPC account, create an installation package and extract it onto the device. (Settings > SEP Cloud Installation Package) Please make sure the installation package is created for the proper group with the currently active subscriptions.
3) Run the installer and the enrollment process will now begin.
4) Enrollment completes and installation is skipped because SEPC is already installed.
