LDAP user access to the spam quarantine is configured but is not working. Local users can login but LDAP users cannot.
Administrator access for LDAP users is configured but is not working.
"Access for your account has not been configured. Please contact your administrator for assistance."
This occurs when the spam quarantine settings are not properly configured either globally or for a specific policy group.
To allow LDAP users that are members of a policy group to access their End User Spam Quarantine:
Ensure that a directory data source is configured for "Control Center Authentication" (on the Administration > Settings > Directory Integration > Edit Directory Data Source > Authentication tab) AND "Email Scanning" (on the Administration > Settings > Directory Integration > Edit Directory Data Source > Address Resolution tab).
Ensure that "Enable end user quarantine" is enabled in two places (Globally: Spam > Quarantine Settings > End User Settings AND for the specific group: Administration > Policy Groups > End Users tab).
To allow LDAP users that are members of an administration policy group administrator access to Messaging Gateway:
Ensure that a directory data source is configured with Authentication enabled with either 'Control Center authentication only' selected or 'Control Center and SMTP authentication' selected and Address Resolution is enabled with 'Both Control Center Authorization and Email Scanning' selected.
Ensure that "Enable an Administration Policy for this policy group" is enabled for the specific policy group (Administration > Policy Groups > Administration tab) and the appropriate administration policy is selected.
