What are the account privileges and requirements needed to enable the Slack Securlet on a CloudSOC account?
The following five requirements must be met in order to enable the Slack Securlet on our CloudSOC account:
● You must have Administrator privileges on your CloudSOC account. ● You must have a Slack Enterprise Grid or Enterprise Select account ● You must be an administrator with org owner privileges on your Slack account. ● You must email firstname.lastname@example.org and tell them you want to “enable the Discovery APIs for Organization <your organization> ”. Slack verifies that the email address matches that of an Org owner and enables the integration. You must perform this step in order for your Slack Organizations to be whitelisted for access to CloudSOC. ● The email address you use as the username for the administrator login on your Slack account must be exactly the same as the email address that you use as your CloudSOC username. Furthermore, this email address must be within the primary or secondary domains listed for your CloudSOC account. To confirm, login to CloudSOC, choose <username> > Settings > General , and check your domains as shown below.
-> Note: If necessary, contact Symantec Support via MySymantec to add additional secondary domains.
