Symantec Endpoint Protection Cloud (SEPC) Error 3047,58 virus definitions out of date.

  • Error 3047,91

Before beginning these steps, run LiveUpdate to see if this resolves the issue.

If you are on a network with firewall and/or proxy, be sure to whitelist the required URL's for LiveUpdate to work.

If Symantec LiveUpdate fails to resolve the issue, continue with the steps below to remove and reinstall the product. 

Do the following:

  1. Follow the directions of the "Remove the computer from the console and run uninstall tools" section of Failed install or uninstall Endpoint Protection Cloud agent
  2. Reinstall using one of the methods below:
  3. Run LiveUpdate
  4. If you are still getting an error Contact Support.
