Issue/Introduction

From August 1, 2019, following Warning message is logged in [System Logs: Server Activity] on Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) every time LiveUpdate run.


08/01/2019 21:59:25,Warning,LiveUpdate content failed to update,Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager could not update Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Content Catalog 14.2 RU1.

 

Following Warning log is also logged in OS event log.

Environment

SEPM 14.x

Resolution

This issue is fixed in the latest content catalog update.

Note: If SEPM is in closed network (no internet connection),  this warning will still be logged 6 times then issue will be gone. This is by-design behavior.
