How to update sdcss-kmod using yum.

While installing DCS Agent, one yum repo will be created automatically, you do not need to create the repo manually.

[root@machine1 Desktop]# cd /etc/yum.repos.d
[root@machine1 yum.repos.d]# ls
my_repo.repo  redhat.repo  sdcss.repo★

[root@redhat7 yum.repos.d]# vi sdcss.repo

[SDCSS-Updates]
name=SDCSS repository for package updates
baseurl=https://s3.amazonaws.com/repo.sdcss.symantec.com/DCS_6.7MP3/rhel7/$basearch★
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-SDCSS

So, you just need to type command below to update sdcss-kmod from link defined in yum repo above.

note:internet access is needed.

[root@machine1 yum.repos.d]# yum update sdcss-kmod
Loaded plugins: langpacks, product-id, search-disabled-repos, subscription-manager
