Issue/Introduction

When displaying ProxySG's or Advanced Secure Gateway (ASG)'s NTP config through either CLI or GUI, it does not show the NTP version information. 

Is there any method to find or to know which NTP version has been used?

Resolution

For now, there is no method to check the NTP version from the Proxy's settings, but the version information can be found from the packet capture from Proxy. 

  1. Perform a packet capture using the NTP server as the filter (in CPL-> show ntp)
  2. Download Wireshark software and open the packet capture through WireShark
  3. Click any NTP packet and the version number could be found from the description
