These advertisements were not disabled by the user.
Updates Advertisements are unchecked in the Software Update Tasks / Policies > Advanced tab.
Cause 1: Revise Software Update Task will disable updates that have been Revised by Microsoft.
Cause 2: Patch Management will disable advertisements for Superseded Updates.
Solution for Cause 1:
PM 6.2: Go through the tasks and recheck all advertisements. When the task runs it will update the clients.
PM 7.X: Go to the Import Patch Data for Microsoft and enable the following settings:
Automatically revise Software Update policies after importing patch data
Enable distribution of newly added Software Updates
Solution for Cause 2:
Run the Superseded Report to review if the updates were Superseded by Microsoft.
Patch Management does not deploy or report on Superseded Updates and these advertisements are not cleaned up by Patch.
