Other times, the error shows up as "GetFileKey() call returned: 3" with the same severity of 1.
When Inventory's Audit Software scan scans has a problem scanning a file, it currently writes a severity 1 error to the Agent logs. The two values, 2 and 3, mean either the file was 0 bytes in size, or the file permissions prevented the scan from properly completing.
This is a known issue, planned to be fixed in the upcoming Service Pack 1 for Inventory Solution. Currently, the error can safely be ignored, as it does not impact the rest of the scan.
