Application Metering 7.0 - Temp files that now run into the thousands are being written into the windows temp directory.
TMP Event Files are being written to C:\WINDOWS\Temp\AeXAM
No Altiris Agent is installed on the PC, nor dues the Altiris Agent directory exist.
Suspected failed or corrupted uninstallation of Application Metering plug-in 7.0 due to files being in use.
Process Explorer has been used to determine that the AMInit32.dll seems to be used by all Processes.
To resolve the issue, unregister the AMInit.dll and remove it from the file system.
After removing removing the DLL and rebooting search for all *.dll files in the C:\Windows directory. Turning on the Company Column in the search result window delete all files by Altiris.
After one more reboot delete the C:\Windows\temp\AeXAM directory.
