Known Issue: Incorrect agent installation status is shown when the client time is behind the Notification Server time
Last Updated November 23, 2009
If you perform a push install of the Altiris Agent to a computer that has its time behind the Notification Server time (that is, the computer time is in the past relative to the Notification Server time), the install status displayed in the Altiris Agent Install page is incorrect.
The install status for a Windows agent is shown as “Starting Altiris Agent install service” and for a ULM agent is shown as “Starting bootstrap”.
The Altiris Agent is correctly installed, but the Altiris Agent Install page does not reflect the final status that is returned by the last stored procedure that is called as part of the installation process (Action: “Remote Install Finished” | Status: “Success”).
The Altiris Agent is correctly installed. No further action is required.
