The Exchange Administrator receives an email with the following content:
Location of the message:<recipient>/<personal folder>
Sender of the message: <email@example.com> Subject of the message:<here the subject line of the email>
The attachment(s) "Message Body" and/or the message was Denied Access. This was done due to the following Symantec Mail Security settings: Scan: Auto-Protect Rule: Unscannable File Rule (User defined action failed - Deny Access used instead) Server: <servername>
The Administrator Notification is numerous (50-60) times a day, for one or more specific users.
The User can open the email and also the attachment.
The Notification does not always refer to the same message.
All emails are in Enterprise Vault.
This also happens when the user is not logged on to the machine. The machine is switched off.
The mail client that is used is Outlook 2003.
This is possibly caused by an automated task that is run by Enterprise Vault.
If the times when the Notification emails are received coincides with tasks that are run by Enterprise Vault, please contact your Enterprise Vault support.
