An error message, "Unable to install license file sent from console because it is invalid," appears when trying to install a new license file. 

This happens if the <start_date> field inside the license file shows a future date when the license file is opened with notepad.  This can also happen if the <license signature> field is blank in the license file.

If the previous license is still there and it has not yet expired, install the previous license until the new license is valid.

If the previous license is not there or it has expired, ask for a temporary license to use until the new license is valid.

If the <license signature> value is blank, register the license again through the licensing portal.
